A series of Chinese mobile applications have been close down after it was suggested women on their platforms were indeed programmed robots, it’s reported.
According to a Modern Express newspaper, military have sealed down mobile apps compared with 21 companies and arrested some-more than 600 suspects handling opposite 13 provinces, after finding that messages from some women were being automatically generated by mechanism programmes.
Police in southern Guangdong range began questioning in Aug 2017, after suspecting one app of fraudulently charging visitors to perspective racy videos that did not exist.
Further review found that technical crew from during slightest one association had combined feign “sexy girl” accounts. They wrote mechanism programmes that generated nod messages and compliments from feign accounts, and targeted these during newly purebred users.
“They solicited gifts and posted other messages to captivate a user into spending money, and so illegally generating profit,” a police report reads. It says that tens of thousands of people are believed to have been conned out of a sum sum of one billion yuan ($154m; £113m).
